Heritage Stained Glass

The two panels depicted here depict Joseph Smith. In the left panel he is shown cutting the ice of the Mississippi River south of Nauvoo for the baptism of Joseph Leland Heywood. In the right panel he is shown near a window in Carthage Jail while John Taylor sings 'A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief'.

The image on the left shows Carson Pass where members of the Mormon Battalion built a wagon track down vertical canyon walls. The Glass mosaic on the right depicts Sego Lilies.
